    01

    Check your meter cabinet

Open the meter cabinet and inspect its contents.

    • You have a digital meter (with display or blinking LED)
    • At least 2 free fuse positions are available
    • The meter cabinet has an earthing conductor (green/yellow cable)
    • No analogue 'spinning disc' meter without digital replacement
A digital meter is mandatory in Flanders. Still have an analogue meter? Fluvius replaces it free of charge.
    02

    Determine your grid type

Check how many phase cables are connected to your main fuse.

    • Single-phase: 1 brown (or black) wire on the main fuse — suitable
    • Three-phase: 3 coloured wires (brown, black, grey) on the main fuse — also suitable
Not sure? Check your electricity bill: the grid type is listed as 'single-phase' or 'three-phase'.
    03

    Check the available capacity

The battery needs enough power capacity to charge and discharge.

    • Main fuse of at least 25A (indicated on the large fuse at the top)
    • No constant overload or regular circuit trips
    • No damaged or outdated wiring (rubber or fabric insulation)
A 16A connection is usually sufficient too, but charging times will be longer.
    04

Do you already have solar panels?

The SolarFlow 2400 AC connects to your existing PV inverter.

    • Your inverter has a free AC connection or a measuring point
    • The inverter is located in the meter cabinet or right next to the socket group
    • You know the brand and power of your current inverter
    • No PV installation? No problem — the battery also works standalone with smart charging via a dynamic tariff
The SolarFlow 2400 AC is AC-coupled and works with virtually all existing PV systems.
    05

    Physical space for the battery

The battery needs a fixed installation spot.

    • Dry, ventilated space (garage, utility room or basement)
    • At least 60 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 80 cm high available
    • Ambient temperature between 0°C and 45°C
    • Not in a damp or outdoor space without protection (IP rating required)
The battery can also be wall-mounted. Our technician will advise on the best location during the site visit.
